oh yes, it Feels good to be back in the game.

there were a lot of interesting challenges and fun experiments that went into making part1 of issue 02.

for one, I had never drawn motorcycles before, much less concepted them in a comic style. then we had to come up with a style of the bikers and have it be a good blend of post apocalyptic with a touch of the pirates life, yo ho! but i think the most challenging thing that i took on with this issue was pushing the contrast further between how emma sees the world. and the transition when she is knocked out of this fantasy.

it’s great to finally have two of the main characters interacting with each other, i’m excited to illustrate where this is going next… lets just say i kept the toothbrush in emma’s hand for a purpose ; )
